This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

GoalBody does not require You to create an account, and We do not ask for Your name, email address, phone number, or location in order to use the Application. The Application contains no advertising, no analytics software development kits, and no cross-app or cross-site tracking of any kind.
Scan Photos are the most sensitive information the Application handles, and We have designed the Service to hold them for as little time as possible.
Scan Photos You provide are stored only on Your Device, encrypted at rest by iOS and excluded from iCloud and computer backups. We do not store Your Scan Photos on Our servers.
When You request a Scan, the Scan Photos are transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) through Our secure proxy to Our AI provider solely in order to generate that report. Our proxy does not retain the images; it passes them to the AI provider and returns the report to Your Device. Our AI provider retains inputs for a limited period for abuse-prevention purposes, as described in the "Detailed Information on the Processing of Your Personal Data" section, and does not use them to train its models.
The Application does not request ongoing access to Your photo library; You select which photos to provide each time. Scan Photos are used only to generate the report You requested. We do not use them to identify You, We do not perform facial recognition or any other identity matching on them, and We do not use them for advertising or to build a profile of You.
Profile Information (age, sex, height, weight, training experience, and physique goal) and Your Scan history — including the reports generated for You — are stored only on Your Device.
When You request a Scan, the Profile Information needed to interpret the photos is transmitted with them, together with the report from Your previous Scan where one exists so that changes over time can be described. This information is not stored on Our servers.
The reports generated for You include estimates that relate to Your body, such as an estimated body fat range and estimated development of muscle groups. These estimates are generated at Your request, returned to Your Device, and stored only on Your Device. They may be considered health-related information under some laws, and We treat them accordingly: We do not store them on Our servers, We do not share them with anyone other than the AI provider that generates them, and We never use them for advertising.
These estimates are visual approximations produced by an AI model for motivation and tracking. They are not medical measurements, not a diagnosis, and not medical advice. See the "Health Disclaimer" section.
When You use GoalBody, the Application generates a random Device Identifier stored on Your Device. This identifier is not linked to Your real-world identity. It is used to apply fair-usage limits to the Service and to help prevent abuse.
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. Usage Data may include Your Device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, request timestamps, the Device Identifier described above, and technical error codes. We use this data only to enforce usage limits, monitor for and prevent abuse, and keep the Service reliable and secure. These short-term operational logs do not include Your Scan Photos, Profile Information, or reports, and are retained briefly and then automatically deleted.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through in-app purchase. We never receive or store Your payment card details. A signed, anonymized purchase receipt provided by Apple accompanies Scan requests so that Our Service can confirm Your subscription tier and apply the correct usage limits. This receipt does not contain Your name, email address, or payment details.
The Company uses the limited information described above only to:
We do not use Your Scan Photos, Profile Information, or reports for advertising, and We do not build advertising or behavioral profiles from them. We do not sell or share Your Personal Data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We do not share Your information with other users. The Application has no social, sharing, or public-profile features.
The Company will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with Our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Our legal agreements and policies.
Where possible, We apply shorter retention periods and/or reduce identifiability by deleting, aggregating, or anonymizing data. Unless otherwise stated, the retention periods below are maximum periods ("up to") and We may delete or anonymize data sooner when it is no longer needed for the relevant purpose.
We may retain Personal Data beyond the periods stated above where required by law, to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, at Your explicit request, or where residual copies exist in backup systems scheduled for routine deletion.

Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at the Company's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. This information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of Your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those from Your jurisdiction.
Where required by applicable law, We will ensure that international transfers of Your Personal Data are subject to appropriate safeguards. The Company will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, and no transfer of Your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of Your data and other personal information.
You have the right to delete or request that We assist in deleting the Personal Data that We have collected about You.

Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency). Because Your Scan Photos, Profile Information, and reports are stored on Your Device and not on Our servers, We are generally not able to produce them.

Measures We take include: storing Scan Photos on Your Device with iOS file encryption and excluding them from backups; transmitting all data over encrypted connections (HTTPS); keeping Our AI provider credentials on Our server so that they are never contained in the Application; and authenticating the Application to Our proxy so that usage limits can be enforced.
Nevertheless, remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While We strive to use commercially reasonable means to protect Your Personal Data, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.
GoalBody provides AI-generated visual estimates intended for motivation and progress tracking. GoalBody is not a medical device, does not provide medical, diagnostic, nutritional, or treatment advice, and is not a substitute for professional judgment. Estimates such as body fat range and muscle-group development are approximations derived from photographs and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on the Application to make decisions about Your health, training, or diet. Consult a qualified professional before beginning or changing any exercise or nutrition program, and seek help from a qualified professional if You have concerns about Your body image, eating, or exercise habits.
The Service Providers We use may have access to Your Personal Data only as needed to perform their functions on Our behalf, and are contractually required to process it solely to provide the Service. Our Service Providers are:

Examples: Age (40 years or older), race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, religion or creed, marital status, medical condition, physical or mental disability, sex (including gender, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy or childbirth and related medical conditions), sexual orientation, veteran or military status, genetic information.
Collected: Limited. You provide Your age and sex so that the analysis can be calibrated. We use this information only for that purpose and to provide the Service.
Examples: Records of products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing histories or tendencies.
Collected: Limited. We receive Your subscription status from Apple. We do not receive Your payment details.
Examples: Genetic, physiological, behavioral, and biological characteristics, or activity patterns used to extract a template or other identifier or identifying information, such as fingerprints, faceprints, and voiceprints.
Collected: No. Although You provide photographs of Your body, We do not extract a biometric template or identifier from them, and We do not use them to identify or authenticate You. We do not perform facial recognition.

Collected: Limited. We log request timestamps and technical error codes for usage limits, stability, and security. We do not track Your activity across other apps or websites.

Collected: Limited. The reports generated at Your request contain estimates and observations about Your physique derived from the Scan Photos and Profile Information You provide. These are stored on Your Device and are not used to build a marketing or advertising profile.
Examples: Government identifiers, financial account information, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, contents of mail or messages, genetic data, biometric information used for identification, personal information concerning health, and sex life or sexual orientation.
Collected: Limited. Because the Application generates estimates relating to Your body at Your request, some of the information described above may be considered personal information concerning health. We collect and use it only to provide the analysis You requested. We do not use or disclose it to infer characteristics about You, and We do not sell or share it. We do not collect government identifiers, financial account information, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, genetic data, biometric identifiers, or information about sex life or sexual orientation.
Under CCPA/CPRA, Personal Information does not include publicly available information from government records, deidentified or aggregated consumer information, or information excluded from the CCPA/CPRA's scope.

California Business and Professions Code Section 22581 allows California residents under the age of 18 who are registered users of online sites, services or applications to request and obtain removal of content or information they have publicly posted. The Application has no public posting or sharing features, and content You create in the Application is stored on Your Device where You can delete it at any time. Be aware that Your request does not guarantee complete or comprehensive removal of content and that the law may not permit or require removal in certain circumstances.
GoalBody is rated 16+ on the App Store and is not directed to children. Because the Application involves photographs of the body and estimates relating to body composition, it is not intended for use by anyone under 16, and We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If You are a parent or guardian and believe Your child has provided Us with personal information, please contact Us and We will take steps to delete it.
If We need to rely on consent as a legal basis for processing Your information and Your country requires consent from a parent, We may require Your parent's consent before We collect and use that information.
